A Present From Daddy

For the first time ever, Daddy had to be away on Madeleine's birthday. He was pretty depressed about it so I got the idea of a special gift he could give her himeself. A very beautiful patchwork dress and....the blue patent leather shoes she has really been wanting. Daddy was the hero. 

This is the photo we took of them in the store that Madeleine often looks back to, to remind me that she really did want those shoes. She never forgets. 

Austin thinks they are pretty rad as well.
