Jesus and Ronald McDonald

Part I - Jesus
Because she could use a little Jesus in her life, I signed Madeleine up for Vacation Bible School (VBS). She had a fun week of learning all about generosity and giving...only to come home and tell Austin to get his own toys because she doesn't want to share. I think she needs more than a week of Jesus but it'll have to do for now. On the last day of VBS the kids got together and sang their songs for the parents. I posted videos on our You Tube Channel.

Spectators (and future husband and wife)

Part II - Ronald McDonald
On the last day of VBS I promised an afternoon of play at McDonald's with her friends. But who should be there when we arrived??? The one and only.  I haven't seen him since I was a kid. He ages well I guess.  Videos are posted on our You Tube Channel.

Rock Star

The boy who doesn't need much sleep. At least he can sing to himself.

Charleston

Mom and I took Brigid to Charleston for a spa weekend for her 40th birthday. Three days of spa treatments, delicious food, shopping and relaxing. Fabulous.  Pictures are posted in the link to the right.

Getting Closer

16 days. The kids (and I) have been at the lake for 16 days straight while renovations were being completed.  We are finally home and ready to regroup and I hope to not redecorate anything for a very long time.  The wallpaper removal and painting was completed, furniture sold on craigslist, carpet ripped up and hardwood put down. The only thing I have to do still is wait for the new furniture to be delivered, find a little artwork for the walls and put down some area rugs. Here are a few more "before and after's":

The horrendous "before" of the guest bath:

A reminder of how the house looked when we bought it:

And after:

This is a good one too. The master bath after:

And the best before/after shot. This is what the kids looked like when we bought the house. Austin is in my belly!

And now...
